Description

This occurrence dataset comes from the 'objective 1000' project, in which the entomofauna of the Jean Massart Botanical Garden was studied during the period 2015-2021, following initial entomological prospectings in 2013-2014 led by the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS). The aim of this project was to inventory 1000 species of insects and spiders on the site. In addition to traditional censuses such as direct observation, dragging the herb layer and the use of a beater screen, the use several other collection methods such as light traps has been possible, thanks to the involvement of Brussels environment. This dataset focuses on the Neuropterida species observed during this site inventory. Please feel free to get in touch with us if you have any question or remark regarding the objective 1000 project or this dataset content.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 223 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
