Sampling Methods

Initially the checklist was based of herbarium specimens preserved at public Belgian herbaria. Then it has been kept up-to-date with adhoc records and new specimens. Online websites are checked for potential new taxa.

Quality Control All new taxa added to the list require a herbarium specimen, or occasionally a good quality photograph. Identities are checked by the author and other experts of critical groups.
